When we choose lubricating oil, we need to choose the lubricating oil with the appropriate viscosity grade according to the temperature of the area where the diesel generator set is used. If it is used in non-cold areas, then no matter what season, we can use 30# engine oil. If you are in a sub-zero cold area, then the diesel generator set lubricating oil must be selected according to the temperature.

 When the ambient temperature is -15℃, we should choose to use 20W-40 engine oil;

 When the ambient temperature is -20℃, we should choose to use 15W-40 engine oil;

 When the ambient temperature is -25℃, we should choose to use 10W-40 engine oil;

 When the ambient temperature is -30℃, we should choose to use 0W-40 oil.
